Great Giveaway!

This is my first time hosting a giveaway and I'm excited about this one.

In Heart of the Matter Online's quest to bring you the absolute best home school resource online, they have listened to your requests and are providing you with a fun filled online adventure! On July 30th through August 3rd, they will be hosting Heart of the Matter Online's first annual Virtual Homeschool Conference! They will be providing the attendees with motivational speakers, video tutorials, free products, question and answer sessions, and a vendor hall - all ONLINE! Just log on and listen live during that time or log in at your convenience and download the audios.

This conference will be less like a "seminar" and more like a bunch of close friends in a chat room. Just wait till you see what some of your favorite home school personalities have done to educate and entertain you! At the end you will join in to chat with them, ask questions, and they will answer.

To ensure your spot in the conference room and to take advantage of the early bird special. Simply, visit the Heart of the Matter Online Conference site and click the "pay now" button. At $19.95 these prices won't last long! This $19.95 includes a fabulous $30 package from Currclick: curriculum in a click! Currclick (formerly HomeschoolEstore) is the largest one-stop shop for electronic lapbooks, affordable curriculum, and homeschooling resources.

Now for the free part! I have been granted permission to give five wonderful readers the opportunity to attend this amazing event for FREE. Yes, I have 5 tickets to give away! Your ticket includes the $30 package from Currclick! To enter my giveaway….just post a comment, leave your blog address and tell me about your best homeschool find. If you don't have a blog, just leave your email address. Comments will close Wednesday, July 2 at Midnight.

Oh, Delicious! I LOVE giveaways!

My favorite homeschool find has been Blessed Heritage Multicultural American History curriculum. I recently purchased it after hearing about it on HSReviews as well as hearing you blog about it some here. I've been pre-reading the books and they are EXCELLENT! It's a real treasure and I certainly wish I'd had something like it growing up.

My blog address is

I love reading your blog!!! I don't have one of my own because I'm so busy reading everyone elses!

My favorite homeschool find has been time4learning.com. We finally gave it a try back in February and we haven't looked back.

I would love to win tickets for the online conference. Is a blog a requirement? If not, my email address is jasmineneil01@tampabay.rr.com.

Have a blessed weekend!

This is a great give-away idea. I would love to enter. My favorite homeschool find has been Handwriting Without Tears. It is a wonderful resource for the reluctant writer or kids struggling with fine motor skills. This program is great because it does not concentrate on just making letter but on the ability to feel what your hand is doing while you are drawing. The program uses music, clay, sponges and other tactile tools to develop a confident writer.

More notes on our first year of homeschooling join me at my blog at http://outsidethesandbox.blogspot.com/.

Hi,
Your blog is very encouraging. It strenthens my desire to homeschool my two sons.
I am a single mom, who is researching homeschooling options and believing GOD for the chance to teach my children at home.

My favorite recent homeschool find is a Bible study series that incorporates art... Draw to Learn by the Notgrass family. www.notgrass.com

We recently started the Life of Jesus book. It is very easy to incorporate into a family with multiple children at different levels.

Blessings to you. I thoroughly enjoy your blog and would love to win the prize, too.

My best find is My Father's World curriculum. I am not a textbook kind of gal and neither of my kids. However, I as much as I love homeschooling my kids, we do have a life outside of "school" so trying to piece together our curriculum takes too much time. MFW is perfect for us. We get to use amazing materials and books and the planning is all done for me. By far the best thing in our 4years!

Hope to win!

Hi Kysha,
How can I pick just one?! I agree with other ladies that commented that math-u-see and CM have been favorites. I'll also add Sonlight Curriculum. Even just having their catalog is a great resource.

Oh this would be so very cool! I seem to have so many very cool homeschool finds, but I think one of our all time favorites is Window On the World. It has boosted our discussions and prayers for the people outside of our community.

Really enjoy your blog! I'm not a blogger but I love seeing what goes on in the lives of other homeschoolers. My favorite homeschool find (other than MFW curriculum) is a series of books called Draw Write Now. These worked out great with ECC. My address is lsdennison@gmail.com

Hi Kysha, please enter me for a ticket! You know, I've been homeschooling for 10 years now and never ever been to a conference! My greatest find this year has to be Homeschoolshare and lapbooking. My kiddos really enjoy the lapbooking and I'm kinda getting hooked, too lol.

Hello Kysha,

I am printing "I Have Not Been Educated," by Carolyn Caines because I need to remember the words everytime I get caught up in "the wrong way" of teaching my children.

My best homeschool find has been Brightly Beaming Resources http://www.letteroftheweek.com. I've found it helpful in teaching multi-levels of children. She even has studies for enfants. The schedule takes you through an entire school year, and it's all FREE. Following through on her country outline for studying countries worked well and was fun.
