My Father's World

I made these little notebooking pages to go along with our Habitat study for MFW ECC's Environmental Science in the upcoming year. As we study each habitat, I am going to allow my children the opportunity to pick an animal to further study and notebook. My children love science esp. animals so I thought it would be neat if they picked their own animals to study. I also made a page for plants so that we can choose one form of plant life to study and notebook as we study each habitat. I will have our science notebook split into Habitat sections such as Deserts, Rain forest, Grasslands, Forest, etc. with labeled dividers and place the animal and plant pages within each section with our other notebooking items as we study them.

Update: I have placed a link for the forms on the right side bar under MFW Blogroll if anyone would like to download them.

Those are really great, Kysha. This is one of the things I love about homeschooling, the creative things the Lord provides through parents.

Kysha! Those are awesome! (And you are making me feel guilty!) I really need to get 'on the ball' and get things organized for ECC!

Wow! We just finished the animal study in EX1850, and when we cycle back to ECC in 8th grade, these will tie the two together most excellently! Thanks for sharing them with everyone!

I love the notebook pages you've created. I enjoy creating forms and things but have never really done anything for school. I love how organized you are.

Thank you for sharing these templates. You are so talented and to offer things such as worksheets and blog teplates for FREE is truly a blessing to those of us not able to do it ourselves.

May God continue to greatly bless you.

Those are neat, Kysha! You are really on the ball for planning out the new school year. When I cycle back to ECC with my youngest, I am using these. We used the draw write now books when we used ECC. It helped us make some nice science pages to put in our notebook. On the MFWFamilies yahoo group there is a schedule for using the books for ECC. Just thought you might like to use them.

You have to sign up for the MFWFamilies group and once you are approved to join, just click on the files section of the group. Then find ECC and scroll down until you see it. IF you can't find it, I can email it to you. There is some really cool country notebook pages and a weekly food comparison of different countries that my kids thought was neat. The U.S. family had the highest budget for food and was basically junk food. I lost your email so I need that again:)
