Not Enough Hours in the Day

That's a saying that I've been saying quite frequently around here. Things are going pretty crazy around here which is why I purchased the chore planner (with daily Bible readings) in order to organize our days a bit. It is really helping me to remain focused but the down side is that the busier I get at home, the less time I have to blog and lately that's been getting less and less. I remember when I blogged just about daily and now it's a great achievement if I get two posts completed in one week. Some are saying that's pretty good. :)) Most of you don't know this but there have been several changes in my home. I never wanted these changes but I have to deal with them now. Due to their nature, I am not at liberty to publicly discuss here but I can tell you that I am currently in college in order to work on another degree (FULL TIME). All of my classes are online and I am working from home (online) also. That doesn't leave much time for blogging except for posting our Weekly Reports and Tot School reports. I am so appreciative of your prayers and the fellowship so please continue to visit every now and then. I need some adult conversation sometimes. :)) Just don't get upset if I don't make it to everyone's blog as in the past. I'm thinking about everyone and it's really a blessing to read all of the wonderful blogs that inspire and encourage me so much.

Don't worry. I'm still homeschooling. I'm called by God to homeschool my babies and that is not changing unless He speaks it loudly and clearly in my little old ear. What He called me to do, He will also enable and equip. After all that has taken place in my life lately, I have really reflected on a lot of things and who I am. I have really lost myself over the years only to find myself again.

I wish I could sit down with some of you with a cup of coffee or cappuccino and talk it all out like girlfriends do but so much to do and so little time.

I understand girl! I am going through the same thing myself as far as not enough time. God is really dealing with me about how much time I spend on the computer. I don't want to give up my blog but I also know that my readership has gone down since I quit blogging regularly. But first things first.....

I have been looking at the planner you mentioned for days. Is it really good? It is a super good price. I use Outlook, so I print calendar pages from there for my planner, but I am wondering what kind of "extras" it has in it.

You are in my prayers. Hope everything goes well for you in 2009!

Kysha, we are here whenever you can be. And don't worry about a quantity of posts when it's the quality and the joy of just being a part of your life that matters.

We understand and we are here for you --although getting together face to face for real girl time sure would be nice :)

Lord bless you and know we are praying for you.

Hi Kysha,

My heart really goes out to you. You certainly have a full plate...been there and done some of that along with homeschooling. I pray that your heart will stay encouraged, and that you trust God to direct your path. Proverbs 3:5-6

Love,
Shawon

You are right..God will equip you in things that need to be done...according to His will. You do have a busy schedule. I know how it is w/ five kids and homeschooling. I couldn't imagine doing school for myself too. God bless you, and just keep going to Him for His strength!!

Kysha,

It sounds like you have a LOT on your plate right now, but I know you are handling it with the beautiful grace that you've handled everything else that life has thrown at you.

I'll keep you and your entire family in my thoughts and prayers.

As a person who has taken more than one blogging break, I know how it is. Just take your time and post when you can.

We'll all be right here when you need us.

I've been there: full-time student, full-time homeschooling momma. You have to protect your family time, even if that means making sacrifices here.

Praying my heart out for you and yours.

I pray that all is well with you and yours, as exciting and grateful that we can be to bring in a new year, it seems as though with a New year always come new challenges and a time to reflect and re look at things! You think about all the great things you accomplished, but you also think about what you have yet to accomplish. One thing I know for sure is being a mother is not the hardest job in the world, being a HOMESCHOOLING mother is THE hardest job in the world. When you add the other duties in life to that title it can seem as though your world is going to collapse. Stay strong as you you are such an inspiration to mothers like myself. This is only a season and it to will pass. The grass always gets greener! keep your spirits up your a superwoman in the words of Alicia keys put your vest with an S on and Fly!!! :)
