Angel is 35 months old
This week's focus: fun with Letter A, Number 1, Color red, and Circle shapes

We also worked with scissors for the 1st time.
Angel was so excited to have her very own pair of scissors. She did such a good job of tracing and cutting circles for the 1st time. Cutting was an experience but so cute.

I'm so proud of her writing at this age. She traces so well. She traced the 1's on this page herself and refused my help. (such a diva!)

This was her fav activity. She would eat an Apple Jack then glue, eat then glue. LOL!

In her words, "I'm big girl! I homeschooled!"

I dyed some rice red, gave her some red cups and it was an hour of play.

We worked on some more motor skills. I laminated some ants to go with our A theme and she used tongs to pick up the ants in order to place them back into their home. The red rice was then the ants' home. She had to count all of the ants 1st, of course. She can count to 10 so far.

Later, I had noticed that these tongs were a bit large for her tiny hands so she had to use both hands to work them.
More fun with the 1st pair of scissors.

This was the best toy investment. Stackers are great. You can count with them, sort colors, stack them, etc.

Matching items with Baby Bingo.

Due to some life interruptions this week, we will continue the same theme next week and review what we have learned.
Have a blessed weekend!

"In her words, "I'm big girl! I homeschooled!"" LOVE this! :)
You make me so ashamed!! Girl, with all you have going on you still make time for such fun activities with all your children, but I am really impressed with your Tot School. My poor 5 year old has really missed out! I have been so lazy the last couple of years. Jeff and I are doing (ok, this is constant) some re-evaluating of our school and I think we are going to make some more changes again. So much to learn, but so very little time to cover it all!! And that's just for me! The children need to have some learning as well. Eighteen years is just not enough time, is it?
Hope you all have a great week two!!
I love what you did for tot school! She looks like she's having a grand time. :)
Your weekly wrap-up is great. It's inspired me to blog about our week.
Have a fabulous weekend!

Looks like she is loving the scissor activities! I really like the red rice and ants.
Love your Apple Jack's "Aa" and your Bingo Game too!
So precious! She's growing up so much, and LEARNING. I love the Tot School Reports.
Awh, isn't she cute!!! She a big girl!!! LOVE IT!!! I have got to try the red rice and ant idea!!! I think my kiddos would like that!
Looks like fun - I really need to get the scissors out for my little one, thanks for the inspiration!
What a great week!! You reminded me to make some colored rice for my tot---that is something my older kids always enjoyed a lot.
I love the rice and ants. Great multi-sensory and fine motor activity!
We have those pegs too and I love them. Gotta go dye some rice in the morning. Love that idea and it won't make the mess that homemade playdoh always does either.
Wow that's awesome! What a great week!!
