It's That Time Again..

Hope everyone has had a blessed weekend. It's been busy around here. Hopefully, I will have our weekly report up by the end of the week and other things. I couldn't sleep (benefits of working night shift. Ha!) so I'm enjoying a cup of hot cocoa while creating our menu and grocery list as the little ones sleep. It's 40 degrees at the moment. Brrrr for the south! LOL! I guess we have advanced from rainy season to cold season. Anyway, I have a great "to do" list for this week and one top priority will be to give my home a great cleaning. It's overdue! I peeked in on a few friends and then remembered what's happening this week...

Boy, time sure does fly quickly! It's time for blog awards again. I wish there was a category for cooking blogs. Aside from a few of my favorite homeschooling blogs that I read from time to time (when time permits), I have been mostly a (quick and easy) recipe fanatic now that I'm working and homeschooling.

Well, head over there, check out the categories and vote for some of your favs. Putting my favs into these categories is one of the toughest parts of voting because some of them overlap categories. (sigh) But the fun part is that I get to check out blogs that I've never seen!

UPDATE: Ok, after some hunting around, I finally found the Homeschool Blog Awards Nomination link. I've been busy and working this past weekend. My body still thinks that I'm at work so now I'm wide awake in the wee hours. That's a benefit of working nights I guess. LOL! Well, I'm off to nominate. Oh, I found the Recipe Blog categories. Yay! I'm so glad. I was tremendously blessed last year so I hope someone that I nominate will be blessed this year. Keep the blessings flowing. :-)

Happy Blogging!

Oh, if you haven't downloaded the Homeschool Toolbar, check it out. I've had mine for a while now and love it. I'm listening to one of my favorite christian music stations as I type. The Homeschool Toolbar is awesome! It has links to some great homeschool curriculum sites, review sites, movies, radio stations, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, News, Daily Quotes, Homeschool Blogs, To Do list, Calculator, Google Search and more...all on your toolbar! Super thanks to Tiany and Troy Davis, owners of The Homeschool Lounge, for making this awesome tool available. Check it out!

I like the Homeschool Toolbar! I'm in the south too and I've been freezing. We use wood heat and we're just now putting in our heater for the year. I'm ready! Have a blessed week.

We have gone from super hot and dry to super hot and wet to just plain wet and now to cold and breezy.

Boy has it been one heck of a year for the weathermen!

Ours is so excited every day that he can't even sit down at his desk anymore . . . he's in weather heaven, LOL.
